The year was 1970. I remember my father taking us boys in the original shop north/west of 47th&broadway. My Mom and Dad had a popular variety band and Dad would hire Ron from time to time to play. Dad bragged that he hired and was playing w/ the best drummer in town.Dad also enjoyed picking his brains on car stuff.Ron was always patient with free advice.Our thoughts are w/ the family.
