Kind and compassionate staff, as you'd expect. The venue is also beautiful and conveniently located on Rock Road. We appreciated their flexibility in changing arrangements "on the fly" in response to rapidly deteriorating weather conditions. The staff was easy to work with despite having make plans from a distance. And on a morbid but appreciated note, their embalming work was very good and natural looking.

From the minute I met Jason, I knew this is where I wanted my mother's funeral. He didn't push anything on to us, I never felt pressured to purchase a more expensive casket, as a matter of fact he knew what our budget was and reminded me I still needed to buy a memorial stone with that budget so I had to look at a lesser priced casket. (Which I wasnt 100% pleased with the computer photo color but it was a beautiful casket once I saw it in person.)  And How many Funeral Homes would tell you that you need to look at a lesser priced one?!   I added photos to a slideshow he provided the Link for and then he did a wonderful job putting the video together with music and extra little touches, It was absolutely beautiful. The ladies in the Derby office made the folders after I picked a pattern and they did an excellent job. Oh and the tribute book they made is very special.  The viewing room was nice and comfortable, Jason did an excellent job on moms makeup and she just looked in a peaceful sleep. The entire process was not nearly as stressful or difficult as I had imagined. Thank you to David, also the pall bearers that stepped in to help and all involved but especially to Jason. We would strongly recommend Culbertson Smith on S.Seneca.

My grandma recently passed and I had to fly into Kansas because she was at a memory care unit here for Alzheimers. I have nothing but great things to say about the quality and care that each employee exudes from the moment they meet you until you leave. They are also extremely considerate and accommodating. I had asked if I could do her makeup since I watched her do it for decades as a little girl, and I was able to spend time with her to do it. Death is always hard, but they definitely made it easier... even if just a little bit.

Went to the Derby office to make arrangements for our sons service, Christopher was extremely professional caring made sure that everything we needed was taken care during one of the most emotional times of lives, everything was beautifully prepared all details of the service went smoothly. The compassion that every staff member showed to us made us know our son was taken care with the utmost respect. We couldn't have made through this without them.
