Obituary for Robert D. Hayes

Hayes, Robert “Bob,” 77, retired Cessna employee, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Visitation 1-8 Monday, funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday, both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Elvira Hayes; and brother, Bill Hayes. Survived by wife, Nancy Hayes; children Steve (Susanne) Hayes, Wichita; Robert Hayes, Augusta; Terry (Diana) Hayes, Wichita; sister Joann (Lewis) Simmons; 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Victoria Falls, 408 E. Central, Andover, KS 67002.
