Obituary for Jennings L. "Gene" Carter

Carter, Jennings L. “Gene”- age 87, retired Boeing experimental flight supervisor, passed away Sunday, September, 18th, 2011. Visitation 1-8pm Thursday, September 22, 2011; funeral service 10am Friday, September 23, 2011, both at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Gene was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Virginia Carter; son, John Carter; siblings, Rhama and Corbett Carter. He is survived by his son, Don (Mila) Carter; grandchildren, Michelle (Kelly) Isenbart; Michael (Shelly) Carter, Denise Carter and Theresa Carter; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson. In lieu of flowers memorials have been established with the American Lung Association, 2024 N. Woodlawn, Ste 114 Wichita, KS 67208 or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market St. Wichita, KS 67202.
