Geraldine as the eldest daughter of Hilda Ostdiek Rempe, who was the yougest sister of my mother, Kathryn Ostdiek Brockman. Her husband, Mo Kroening, was a college room mate. In spite of never living nearby, we managed to always stay in touch. We wend our condolence to her siblings, my cousins , and to he children and grandchildren. Our prayers are with you.

Gerry was my Lawrence HighSchool Classmate, class of 1953. There were three Rempe’s in our class of 18; 9 boys, 9 girls. We were a tight knit class and she was one of my closest friends, so I spent lots of time at her house. Even though we ended up in different locations we kept close contact over the years. We enjoyed our class reunions and Rempe gatherings in the years to come. Her brother, Fr Mel said at one of his funeral homilies said that “Death was a Gift.” May she ‘Rest In Peace’ until we reach our final gatherings in a better place together again. Classmate, cousin, Phyllis (Rempe) Brockman
