Obituary for Arvilla Eva Bohn

Arvilla Eva Bohn, 99, recent resident of the Medicalodge of Columbus, Ks., formerly of Wichita, Kansas, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Columbus Medicalodge.
Born December 1, 1911 in Carmen, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of William and Nellie (Woodward) Corbin. She attended school through 8th grade just south of Tonkawa, Oklahoma.
Eva and Hazen Lyle Bohn were united in marriage February 28, 1928 in Tonkawa. He preceded her in death December 28, 1984.
She worked on farms, in grocery stores, a meat packing company, and many years in a paint and wallpaper store in Wichita.
She was a long time member of Martinson Avenue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, Esta Boyce and Erma Partrick, and one nephew, Cecil Boyce.
Left to mourn her passing are two sons and their wives Clifford and Barbara Bohn, Wichita, Garland and Joan Bohn, Columbus; six grandchildren, Steven Bohn, Kathy Peavey, Diane Dixon all of Wichita, Bryce Bohn, Boise, Id., Brett Wary, Columbus, and Blair Bohn, Eureka, MT; 18 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Services will be held at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 1pm. Saturday, July 2 at 115 S. Seneca, Wichita. Friends my view the body from 1-8 pm., Friday, July 1 at the mortuary.
