Condolences

Condolence From: Lyn J
Condolence: My condolences to you all for the loss of your loved one Keith. May these scriptures bring you all a measure of comfort and hope during this difficult time.

Revelation 21: 3, 4
With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

Condolence: I sure love my Cox family and my heart breaks for them today. When I think of Uncle Keith I think of him always smiling and I can still hear his giggle. I'm praying for you all and love you all dearly!
"Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!" Psalm 27:14

Condolence: Death
It won't cripple the love you had for your father, it cannot shatter your hope,
It cannot corrode your faith, it cannot eat away at your peace,
It cannot destroy confidence you have in the Lord, it cannot kill friendship.
Death will not shut out your memories, but rather increase them.
It cannot silence your praise of what a great man he was.
It cannot invade the soul, it cannot reduce eternal life,
It cannot quench the Spirit,
It cannot lessen the power of the resurrection.

We do not have to fear it. The reason for that confidence is that our divine and human Savior, Jesus Christ, took on our humanity in order to experience fully every aspect of human life, including the experience of dying. By bearing our death for us in that way, he took all the sting out of it. "Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows. . . . He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:4,5).

This means that dying is not the beginning of the end of everything; it is the beginning of the beginning of EVERYTHING. It doesn't signify the loss of everything but rather the gaining of everything.

May the Lord bless you and your family with these precious memories, give you peace today, and hope for tomorrow. Your father was a great, great man. He had a profound impact on not only his family, and our little town, but on generations to come - his love, his work ethic, his service to others (even those he did not know). Thank you for sharing him with my family, and the community. The world will surely be a better place because of Keith Cox.

Condolence: There are no words that are enough to express the sorrow for the loss of this wonderful man who gave so much to his community. Keith will be greatly missed here in Rose Hill, but Creator God has one more amazing worker in Heaven. Prayers are being sent to each of the family members as our Creator God works with you to help heal your hearts and minds as you move forward. Trust that the Lord is with you and call upon him when ever the burdens of this loss weighs you down, for God will see you through.
