Obituary for Jimmy Dean Newton

Jimmy Dean Newton, 87, former Atlanta, KS resident, passed away July 16, 2017. A Navy veteran of the Korean War, Jimmy retired from Lear Jet/Bombardier. He married the love of his life, Maxine Beightol on July 11, 1951. She preceded him in death. Survivors: Debra Hunter (Gary), Pamela Howell (Martin), Dawn McAfoos (Tim Peel) all of Wichita; sister, Shirley Lomon of Mesa, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Michael Tredway (Carrie), Brandon Evans, Amber-Dawn Liebau (Trey), Justin Howell (Rhonda), Megan Hunter; 7 great-grandchildren, Eyan, Kindle, Tauer, Rachel, Taryn, Drew and Roslyn. Private family services will be held.
