Dear Wendy and family. Though it has been a very long and hard battle with cancer that Paul faced, we rejoice that Paul's battle is over, and because he knew Christ as His Lord and Savior, we know he is in heaven, as the Scriptures say: "to be absent from the body is to present with the Lord." Our entire church family at East Side Bible Church in Chicago has kept Paul and you Wendy and your family in our prayers and has stood with you thru this ordeal, and we will continue to pray for the Lord's sustaining grace at this most difficult time. We love you all. In Christ, Pastor Jon and Sue, and for your family in Christ at ESBC.
