Obituary for Kenneth "Kenny" Wren

Kenneth "Kenny" Wren, 85, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017. He was born September 30, 1931 in Sedan, KS to Joseph Ira and Mary Elizabeth (Sidwell) Wren. Kenny retired from Boeing in 1995 and then went to work in Wal-Mart's sporting goods department for 16 years. He enjoyed attending gun shows and estate sales. Kenny loved fishing, dancing, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Fern; and children, Sharon and Kenneth, Jr. Kenny is survived by his daughters, Wanda (Mike) Lutkie, Cindy (Royal) McCaskey, and Sandra (Cory) Turner; sister, Jane Montgomery; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Sunday, 1 to 5 pm with family present between 3 and 5 pm. Funeral: 10 am, Monday, September 18, 2017; both at Smith Mortuary - Mulvane, 501 SE Louis Blvd., Mulvane, KS 67110. Interment to follow at Mulvane Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3450 N. Rock Rd. #204, Wichita, KS 67226.
