Yvonne Marie Beckley

August 7, 1941 - November 11, 2018

Yvonne passed from this life on Sunday, November 11, 2018, into the loving arms of her husband, parents, and extended family who had passed on before her. She is survived by her beloved son, David; her two granddaughters, Sarah Richardson and Amber Little; seven great-grandchildren, Madison Elliston, Micah Dunn, Gabriella Dunn, Eli Dunn, Jesse Blackburn, Dakota Little and Lucas Little.

Yvonne's life's passon was her horses. This passion was developed early in life as she lived very near a stable when she was a little girl in Southern California and she would leave her house and 'walk down the hill' and rearrange the horses in their respective paddocks. Stable owners were not very happy to say the least. The problem was solved when her parents bought her a horse of her own and she spent the rest of her life loving, riding and raising them.

She competed in endurance riding early in her marriage to Richard Beckley, who gladly joined her. Their son, David, came along not after and grew up on the back of a horse. She fell in love with Arabians and eventually began breeding and showing them exclusively. Many a trophy was collected in her years of equestrianism - a testament to her dedication and expertise.

The only thing that even came close to her love of horses was her love of travel. She lived to go on trips and see new things and later in her life took many of them with her mother and aunt, as well as her husband.
