William J. "Bill" Walmsley

Rose Hill - Rose Hill - Walmsley, William J. "Bill", 72, passed away Thursday, December 8th, 2022. He was born July 31st, 1950 to James and Mary (Donovan) Walmsley in Fall River, Massachusetts. Bill graduated from Durfee High School in Fall River, MA, where he was a superior athlete, he received many awards of excellence & accolades of his athletic performance in soccer & baseball. He received a baseball scholarship to Johnson & Wales College in Rhode Island & graduated with an associates degree in business. He worked at Quirk Auto Park for 35 years as a Sales Manager of many of their dealerships. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill is survived by his beloved wife: Joy Walmsley; his daughter Kaitlin (Daniel) Boger; and four grandchildren: Ephraim, Hazel, Anders & Sabine. He also leaves his brothers:Thomas, James & Robert (Jean), sister-in-law Dianne (Roger) Boucher; brother-in-law David (Mary Jane); several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date (to be announced) In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or ASPCA.
