Winfield - Story, William Robert, 91, died Saturday, June 12, 2021.

He retired as Master Sergeant from the United States Army.

Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Smith Mortuary, 1415 North Rock Road, Derby. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Rose Hill Kansas

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Story and siblings, Lucille Wedgewood and Albert Story.

William is survived by his daughter, Diane Ridpath; two grandchildren, Jeromey (Tonya) and Jamie Ridpath; five great grandchildren, Justin (Keeley Bowhey), Hunter, Garrett, Danielle, and Gabrielle Ridpath; one great-great granddaughter, Layla Ridpath; siblings, Linda Story and Lee Story (Bonnie); brother-in-law, Lonnie Williams; sister-in-law, June Williams.
