William Leslie Sloan, age 85, of Belle Plaine, retired Beech Aircraft employee, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. Visitation 1-8 pm Monday, January 15, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 2 pm Tuesday, January 16, West Side Freewill Baptist Church, 3310 W MacArthur Rd, Wichita. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, James and Virginia Sloan; brothers, Roy, Louis, Lester and Don; and his sister, Wilma Linningham. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Bea; son, Michael, of Wichita; brothers, Lawrence, John (Linda), Walter, Leonard (Debbie); and his sister, Ruby Lindabury.
