William Lee Shurtz

Shurtz, William “Bill” L., age 71, passed away Jan. 24, 2012 in St. Charles, MO. Graveside service 2pm Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery; memorial gathering to follow at the Haysville Masonic Lodge, 300 S. Main, Haysville. Bill retired from Beech Craft as a Labor Estimator and was a member of the Masons and Shriners. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis, Sr. and Naomi Shurtz; wife, Barbara Shurtz; brothers, Ronnie and Larry Shurtz. Bill is survived by his children, Greg (Denise) Shurtz, Michelle Prutt, Gary Shurtz and Denise K. Shurtz; brothers, Lewis Shurtz, Jr. and Jack Shurtz; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Shriner Children’s Hospital.
