William Scott

Scott, William "Buss" J., 87, former owner of Buss Scott Plumbing, passed away Wednesday, May 29th, 2024. He was born January 27th, 1937 to William "Guss" and Edna Scott, in Andover, Kansas.

He was raised on the family farm and schooled in Andover. On October19, 1958, he married the love of his life, V. Darlene Wharton. Buss followed harvest in earlier years and his favorite hobby was garden tractor pulls in Haysville and other small towns festivals.

Preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Nola Weidman, Bob Scott, Donna Schmitz, Velda Adams, Glen Scott, Glennis Fuller, Judy Scott. Survivors include his wife, Darlene; children, Kathy (Daniel) Heinz, Keith (Kay) Scott, Todd Scott; grandchildren, Kelsey Elkins, Kody Scott, Nathan Scott, Merissa Scott.

Memorial service for Buss and Darlene will be 1:00 pm Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby, KS 67037.
