William F. Sammons

William “Frank” Sammons, Sr., 73, retired Vulcan Materials Maintenance Supervisor, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012. He is now on his way to be with his wife, Sandra Lou, who preceded him

in death on November 20, 2006. He is also preceded in death by his daughter Roxanna “Punkin” Faye Sammons, parents Clinton and Wanetta Sammons, sister Alona Barber. Survivors include his sons, Bill Sammons (Tammy) of Derby, Paul Sammons (Shelley) of McPherson; daughters, Christy Gutzmer (Doug) of Mulvane; Shawna West (Travis) of Haysville; brother, David Sammons of El Dorado; 12 grandchildren; 4

great-grandchildren. Viewing: 1-8pm Tuesday, Smith Mortuary, 7031 S.Broadway, Haysville, with family greeting friends from 6-8pm. Service:10am Wednesday, May 16, 2012, First Presbyterian Church, 324 N.Baltimore, Derby. In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Presbyterian Church Playground Fund.
