William R. Bradford

William “Bill” Bradford, beloved husband and best friend for 60 years of Rose Marie (Calabretta) Bradford, lost his battle with Leukemia on September 12, 2013. A resident of the Derby area for 41 years, he was born in Chester, PA to Kenneth and Ida (Schartner) Bradford on May 27, 1934. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Air Force for 21 years as a medical technician. Upon retirement he became a computer programmer for 20 years at Intrust Bank. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie; children, Patricia and William Davis, Linda and Cornelius Fisher, William, Jr. and Tracie Bradford, Michael and Paula Bradford, and 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 (expected), and 1 great great-granddaughter (expected). Visitation 1-8 Monday, September 16, 2013, with recitation of the Rosary at 7pm; funeral service 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2013 both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby.
