William Arlo Pittman

William Arlo Pittman, 52, owner of Broadway Discount Liquor, passed away March 18, 2014. Memorial service 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca Wichita, KS 67213. William was born to William C. and Faylene (Ambrosier) Pittman on Dec 1, 1961. He graduated from Liberal High School in 1980 and married his best friend Kim Page, October 20, 2005. Moving to Wichita in 1984, he started working for Stelbar Oil Corp. Wichita, Ks for over 21 years. He is preceded in death by his father, William C. Pittman; grandparents, Arlo and Ellen Ambrosier, Clyde and Pauline Pittman. William is survived by his wife, Kim; mother, Faylene (Charles) Cambern; sisters, Ellen (Daryl) Banister, Helen (Marty) Shawver, Dulene Rathbun; nephews and neices, Joshua (Ginny) Banister, Jered Banister, Sally and Blaine Shawver, Morgan and Montgomery Rathbun; special aunts and uncle, Kaylene (Vance) Freeman, Mrs. James Pittman, Don Pittman. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the First Christian Church, 920 North Jordan Ave., Liberal, KS 67901. Inurnment at Hill City, KS at a later date.
