Mayo, William “Bill”, 77 of Rose Hill, Kansas entered into Heaven after a short and unexpected illness on January 13, 2022. Bill was a machinist at Boeing and Spirit for 38 years, retiring in 2010. He and wife, Deb, enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, traveling, and volunteering. Several times each year they volunteered with the Christian Motorcyclists Association in Arkansas. Bill was a strong, simple, kind, and humble man, who loved Jesus with his whole heart. Bill was preceded in death by his father, William; his mother, Mary Alice; sister, Phyllis; and brother, Jon. Survivors include his wife, Debbie; son, Mike; daughter-in-law, Lisa; and grandson, Thaddeus Mayo of Friendswood, Texas; Mike’s mother, Clara “Rosie” (Bill) Hoffmann of Derby, KS; sister-in-law, Karen Mayo; brother, Joel; sister, Margo; and several nieces and nephews. We especially would like to thank Interim Hospice, our friends and family as well as our brothers and sisters in CMA for their constant support, prayers, and love. There will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with “Run for the Son” c/o Christian Motorcyclists Association, P.O. BOX 9, Hatfield, Arkansas 71945. A ministry sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world.
