William Goulden

Goulden, William “Bill”, 67, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014. He was born November 21, 1946 to Darrell and Colleen (Koenke) Goulden in Newkirk, OK. Bill was big hearted and was very loving, generous, and forgiving to both people and animals. After retiring from Boeing after over 30 years of service, he went to work for Spirit Aerosystems, where he retired from earlier this year after 8 years. Bill enjoyed restoring cars, playing pool, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill is survived by his longtime companion and wife, Paula Goulden; children, Greg Goulden, Daryl Goulden, Patrick Goulden, and Paula (Kirk) Damron; siblings, Frances Roady, Mark Goulden, and Lynette (Jim) Glass; several grandchildren; and a large extended family. Visitation: Monday from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral: 10 am, Tuesday, September 23, 2014; both at Smith Family Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville, KS. Inurnment will follow on Wednesday at 2 pm at Newkirk Cemetery in Newkirk, OK. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you find an individual in need and give them a helping hand.
