William Owen Booth, age 69,of Derby, KS retired US Air Force, Senior Master Sergeant, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Visitation 1-8pm Friday, May 13,2011, with family receiving friends 6-8pm; funeral service 1pm Saturday, May 14, 2011, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Graveside memorial service 2pm Monday, May 16, 2011, Coal Creek Cemetery, rural Miami, OK. William is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lola Booth; sister, Claudean England. Survivors: wife of 47 years, Carmen; daughters, Karen (Layne) Wiebe, of Shawnee, KS, and Kimberly (Jeff) Waters, of Wichita; brother, Jerry Booth, of Miami, OK, Bruce (Marlene) Booth, Greer, SC; sister, Terri Lea (Tommy) Posey, Florence, AL; grandchildren, Paige and Brooke Wiebe, and Claire Waters.
