William G. Beaver

William G. Beaver died on September 23, 2026 in Derby, Kansas.

He will be remembered for his faith, his love for his family, his love of our country, and for aviation.

As an United States Air Force officer for 27 years, he flew the KC-135 refueling plane all over the world, and his skill at learning many languages provided assignments in foreign countries. After retirement from the Air Force, he was a technical writer in the aircraft industry and also became an Anglican priest. Always studying, he was a life-long learner.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn, his sons Robert (Eva), Darrell (Tina), and Anthony, and his daughter Vicki (Russell) Lind; seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 11am Friday, October 2, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 909 S. Market, Wichita. Committal services with military honors will be at 3pm at Reflection Pointe Cemetery, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita.
