William F. Bankston

William F. Bankston, 74, retired Boeing and Spirit Engineer and Navy veteran died July 30, 2016. Survivors: wife, Jenny; children, Brenda McVicker (Ben), William Bankston II (Dawn), Robert Bankston (Lesley), Bridgett Diaz (Derek); siblings, Wayne Bennett (Susan); 10 grandchildren with one on the way; 1 great-grandchild on the way; in-laws, T. Layne, James and Carol Mathia; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, too numerous to mention. William is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ethel and Joe Bennett; sister, Barbara. Viewing: 4-8pm today with family present 5-7pm at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service: 10am Tuesday, August 2, 2016, also at the mortuary. A memorial is established with Victory In The Valley.
