Wilbur Hicks

Hicks, Wilbur “Leslie”, age 90, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012. Visitation 1-8pm Wednesday, May 23, with family present 5-8pm at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Funeral service 2pm Thursday, May 24, at Emporia Avenue Church of Christ, 1144 S. Emporia Ave., Wichita. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lee Ora Hicks; siblings, Gilbert Hicks, Lavondau Vaughn, Irvin Hicks, James Hicks and Lewis Hicks. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marciele Hicks; children, Roe (Brenda) Hicks, Marcia (Bruce) Johnson, Larry (Judith) Hicks; grandchildren, Jonathan Hicks, Charity (Andrew Spackman) Hicks, Louie Jordan, Leora (Jonathan) Garcia, Joel Hicks and John Hicks; siblings, George (Shirley) Hicks, Kathleen Howard and Buryl (Barbara) Hicks; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
