His hobbies included fishing and bowling.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Derrill and Marvel Knight and step brother Jim Knight

Wendell is survived by his wife Lynda; brother, Greg (Patty) Knight, children; John (Danielle) Gabor; Debbie (Dave) McCormick, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
