Wayne Hix
June 14, 1947 — June 12, 2015
Hix, Wayne, 67, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born June 14, 1947 to Cleo and Eleanor (Cunningham) Hix in Wichita, KS.
Wayne graduated from North High School and served in the U.S. Army for 3 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Leo M. Hix.
Wayne is survived by his brother, Jere (Jeannie) Hix; nieces and nephews, Mark (Kathleen Thorne) Hix, Christopher (Elizabeth) Church, and Kellie (Adrian) Woodworth; and a large extended family.
Rosary:7 pm, Wednesday. Funeral: 10 am, Thursday, June 18, 2015, both at St. Mary Faith Center, 2300 E. Meadowlark Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Mary Building Fund.
