Ward A. Appleby, 45, accountant, died February 22, 2015. Funeral service: 10:30am Wednesday, March 4, 2015, Belle Plaine United Methodist Church. Survivors: mother, Kay Hatfield of Belle Plaine; father, Dennis Appleby (Judy) of Wichita Falls, TX; sister, Gwinn Appleby of San Francisco; brother, Vance Appleby of Mulvane; step-sisters, Stacey Sanchez (Brad) and Melissa Gound (Chris) of Wichita Falls, TX. He is preceded in death by his step-father, Roger Hatfield. A memorial is established with Belle Plaine Alumni Scholarship Fund. Arrangements with Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home.
