Wanna Ann Nighswonger

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Wanna Ann Nighswonger of Derby, Kansas, who died at the age of 81 on August 30th, 2024.

Wanna was preceded in death by her husband Bob and is survived by daughters Cyndi and Sonja, and by sons Troy and Darren. She also has nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Wanna was the owner of many antiques, enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, and was a huge Chiefs and Jayhawks fan. She will be missed very much.

A service will be held in her honor at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 4th at Smith Family Mortuary in Derby, Kansas. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
