Walter Albert Sawhill

HAYSVILLE - Sawhill, Walter Albert, age 91, retired attorney and municipal judge, surrounded by his loving family, passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Visitation 1-8pm Thursday, December 13th, with family present 5-7pm at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Funeral service 10am Friday, December 14th, at the First Presbyterian Church, 324 N. Baltimore Ave., Derby. Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Ora B. and Nellie Sawhill; brother, Frank; sisters, Nellora Vaughn, Rebecca Whisler, Betty Nagel and Beverly Ray; sons, Ora Scott and Guy Michael. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; brother, Guy; sons, David and Steven; daughters, Janet Peery and Lauri (Larry) Brown; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
