Walter Glenn Rice

Walter Glenn Rice, Jr., 82, passed away and went to be with his Savior July 10, 2014. He was born in Monongahela, PA. May 11, 1932. Walter served in the Army for 2 years. Upon completion of his military stint, he attended California State College, Duquesne University and then completed his masters at West Virginia University. Walter taught in the Greene County School System, PA. for 42 years. He married Annice Williams in 1983 after retiring in 1997, they moved to Bonita Springs, FL in 1996, then to Derby, KS in 2007. Walter is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Wilma; son, Mark. He is survived by his wife, Annice; children, Pamala, April, Roxanne, Todd; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at a later date at Calvary Baptist Church, Derby, where he was a member.
