Waketa Charlotte Barngrover, of Woodbridge, VA, formerly of Belle Plaine, age 90, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014. Visitation with family 12 Noon to 1 PM Tuesday, Funeral Service 1 PM Tuesday, January 21, 2014, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita. Waketa is preceded in death by her parents, William Orr and Lorene Hodges; husband, Wilbur; daughter, Delores Barngrover; brother, Cloise Orr; and sister, Wanda Haverty. Survivors include her son, Bill (Anita), Saginaw, TX; daughter Marti Hall (Ron), Woodbridge, VA; brothers, Edgar Hodges, Latham, Charles Hodges (Rhoda), Cassoday; sisters, Marjorie Hartman, Bel Aire, Joy Clements (Dale) Holton; grandchildren, Kenny Judy (Andrea), Brian Judy, Martin Judy (Marie), Patrick Judy (Jenn), Kim Villa (Jeff), Chris Hall, Chris Barngrover (Missy), Craig Barngrover (Mandy), Adam Barngrover (Stephanie); 19 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
