Wade Patrick Kern

HAYSVILLE – Kern, Wade Patrick, age 58, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 in Oklahoma. Visitation 2-8pm Thursday with family present 5-7pm at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Graveside service 11am Friday at Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, KS. Wade was born April 18, 1954 in Great Bend to Kenneth and Ellen (Carter) Kern. He enjoyed woodworking and visiting with family. Wade was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles. He is survived by his significant other, Jan Perricone of the home and her children, April (Dustin) Crouch of Castle, OK, Angela (Jesse) Luna of Haysville, David Perricone of Davis, CA and Ashley Lechner of Wichita, KS; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Lee “Phil” Kern of Kansas City, KS, Kenneth Kern of Great Bend, KS and Mary (Ken) Bath of Topeka, KS; nieces and nephews, Clark Kern of Great Bend, Kirk Bath of Topeka, LaKeith Cape of Salina, KS, Karla Keys of Topeka, Kimberly Kern of Hays, KS and Katherine Shelton of Great Bend; many cousins, great-nieces and nephews.
