She was preceded in death by her Husband, Frank Edwin McMurphy, Jr.

Virginia is survived by her Children, Debbie Fisher (David), Alan McMurphy, Jane Meier (James), and Carol French; Grandchildren, Ryan and Travis Fisher, Crystyl and Candace McMurphy, Jessica Wise, Alec, Madeline and Blake Meier, Brad Johnston, Macey French. Four great-grandchildren. Brother, Ray VonFeldt (Charlotte).

Visitation: Thursday, April 12, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Smith Mortuary, 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 am, Friday, April 13, 2018 at St Vincent de Paul Church, 123 Andover Rd, Andover, Kansas 67002.
