Virginia Hoppock

Virginia Colleen Hoppock, 92, died Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024. She was born April 9th, 1932 to Irvin "I.M" and Verdna (Jones) Rexwinkle in Craig County, Oklahoma.

She loved riding motorcycles, snow skiing, traveling (especially trips to Mexico), and anything that involved family functions. Her grandchildren always depended on her when they needed something. And they had fun doing things with her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Irvin (I.M.) and Verdna Jones Rexwinkle, 3 sisters Reva Jean Harden (Wilbur), Billy Jo Morgan (Eugene), Karen Pogue (Jack), daughter Katherine Alloway, great grandsons Connor Villar and Tyler Barrett.

Virginia is survived by her children Rae Dean Smith (Dale), Carol Casey (Danny), John Hoppock (Julie), and Mark Hoppock (Diana); 13 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren, and 9 Great Great Grandchildren

Visitation: Saturday, July 27th, 2024, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Saturday, July 27th, 2024 at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Interment will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday at Elm Grove Cemetery in Edna, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Traditions Health hospice.
