Virginia Mae Edmiston

Edmiston, Virginia Mae, 80, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013. An informal gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Burial will follow in Americus Township Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Virginia retired from Wadley Realty, where she served as a bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene Edmiston, and sister Norma Grothe. Survived by children Sherrie (Mike) Bahm of Wichita, and Jay Unruh of Wichita; grandchildren Nicholas (Jenny) Bailey, Jacob Bahm, Ken Unruh, Katie Unruh, Kaitlyn Unruh, and Angie Perez; great-grandchildren Mason and Paige Bailey and Ivan Bahm; sisters Betty (Jim) Larson, Shirley (Lee) Bartel, Helen Entz, and Beverly (Dean) Hicks.
