Victor Thomas Powers, age 61, of Wichita, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015. Visitation with family receiving friends, 4-7 PM Tuesday, August 25, Park Place Ministry Center, 4800 W. Maple, Wichita. Funeral service 11 AM Wednesday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Victor is preceded in death by his niece, Bethany Weidensaul. Survivors include his parents, Forrest & Carol Powers, of Wichita; sister, Gail Clary (Wes), of Wichita; niece and nephews, Emily Rudy (Jared), Tyler Clary (Addie), Ben Clary (Andrea Nowak) and Austin Clary; great nieces, Brooklyn and Evelyn Rudy. Memorials have been established with Starkey Inc., 4500 W. Maple, Wichita, KS 67209 and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202. Smith Mortuary, Derby in charge of arrangements.
