Vern Leroy Wheelock

DERBY - Wheelock, Vern L., 69, retired owner of Wheelock Trucking passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie, parents Edwin and Viola, and sister Barbara Trego. Survivors include sons Gary (Vickie) of Haysville, Eddie of Wichita, brother Delbert (Sara) of Derby and sister Peggy Young of Derby, 2 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 1 great-granddaughter. Friends are invited to come to Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, 10-1, Thursday, to view the tribute video and sign the guest book. Graveside service 2 pm Thursday at El Paso Cemetery, Derby.
