Verla Lucile Sanders, 75, passed away April 18, 2017. Visitation 1-8 Friday and Funeral Service 10 am Saturday, both at Smith Mortuary, Haysville. Verla was preceded in death by her brother, Darrel Fairchild. Survivors include: husband, Gordon "Tom" Sanders, Jr.; children, Jonathon Brown, James Brown (Danielle) and Johnna Brown; seven grandchildren, Courtney Moxley (Grant), Tyler Caldwell (Melinda). Shelby Brown (Nick Kaup), Kesley Gross (Bret), Jon, Cody, and Cory Brown; two great grandchildren, Tripp and Gage Moxley; two sisters, Vada Turley and Delma Calvin (Max); and sister-in-law, Dorothy Fairchild. In lieu of flowers memorials to National Kidney Foundation, 6405 Metcalf Ave, Ste. 204, Overland Park, KS 66202.
