Verl May Antle

Verl May Antle, 89, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017. Visitation 2-6 p.m., Sunday; funeral 10 a.m. Monday, both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Verl moved to the Wichita area in 1951, Derby in 1962, then to Argonia. She was active in the First Baptist Church of Derby and the Argonia Bible Church, and worked at JC Penney at Towne East. Preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Antle, Jr.; daughter Barbara Bentley;granddaughter Jennifer Antle; brother John Alfred; sisters Mary Ann and Caldonia Francis and infant twin sisters. Survived by children Delbert (Sandra) Antle and Rebecca (Ronald) Nation; grandchildren Stacy, Heather, Tami, Ginger, Tiffany, Kasey, Rhein, Stacey, and Michelle; 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
