Vera Marie Tharp

Vera Marie Tharp, age 91, was royally escorted home September 25, 2015. Memorial service 10am Wednesday, September 30th, at New Life Chapel, Hwy K-15 Udall, KS 67146. Burial following at 3pm at the West Liberty Cemetery, Elk City, KS. Vera is preceded in death by her parents, Clint and Mary Lain; husband, Melvin; siblings, Eugene, Betty, Virginia; grandson, Glenn; great-grandson, Edward. She is survived by her children, Bill (Audry) Tharp of Douglass, Patricia (David) Cheek of Ponca City, OK, John (Patty) Tharp of Purcell, OK, Janette (Lee) Adams of Udall, Debra Mears of Wichita; sister; Joan Bail; 17 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Wellington Health and Rehab, 1600 W. 8th St. Wellington, Ks 67152.
