Vera Cynthia Schirf

Vera Cynthia Schirf, 93, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Feb. 20, 2011. She was born on March 24, 1917 at Monticello, Minnesota, the daughter of Anton and Mary Raab Hoelker. Vera is preceded in death by her husband Urban, Vera was totally devoted to her family. Survivors include her seven children, Larry Schirf of Wichita, Dean Schirf (Suzan) of Harrah, OK, Janet Gray (Rex) of Wichita, Joyce Riche of Johns Creek, GA, Joan Damewood (Tom) of Olathe, Geneva Hermreck (Rick) of Wichita, Virginia Rollins (Jim) of Goddard; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Viewing: noon-6pm today, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Rosary: 7:30pm tonight, Feb. 22, 2011. Mass at 9:30am Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 149 S. Millwood. Graveside service: 4pm, Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, OK.
