Veda M. Floyd

Floyd, Veda M., 77, passed away at home, Sunday, November 23, 2014. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Tuesday with family present from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.; funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday, both at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville.

Veda enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo, sewing, crocheting, camping, fishing, and listening to Elvis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Margaret Kistler, sister Beulah Beard, and brother Frank Kistler. Survived by children Anita (Dennis) Cooley, Haysville; Douglas Mullen, Wichita; Bradley Mullen, Derby; Michael (Peggy) Calvin, Bison, Okla.; grandchildren Sarah Wilson, Jason Cooley, Ashley Mullen, and Audrey Mullen; great-grandchildren Jayden Wilson, Ethan Cooley, and Hunter Cooley; siblings Faye (Howard) Mann, Roy (Allene) Kistler, Lloyd (Joan) Kistler, Rick (Brenda) Kistler, and sister-in-law Jeanie Kistler. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Progressive Hospice, American Heart Association, and American Diabetes Association.
