Valgene Adin Smith

Valgene Adin Smith, age 89, of Haysville, retired Boeing aircraft worker, passed away December 28, 2016. Visitation 9 am to 12 noon, Friday, January 6, Smith Mortuary, 7031 S Broadway; graveside service 2 PM Friday, Greenwood Cemetery. Valgene is preceded in death by his sisters, Darlene Calvert and Benariene Sparlin. Survivors include his wife, Lila Smith (Hickman); son, Valance Smith, of Belle Plaine, daughters Valerie Neal (Rick), of Wichita, and Venita Thompson (Jeff), of Oxford; brother, Dee Odie Smith, of Wichita; sisters, Kay Smith (Richard), of Cheney, and Toni Hauserman (Richard), of Wichita; 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations to: Alzheimer's Association, 1820 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67214.
