Valarie Villarreal

Villarreal, Valarie Elizabeth, 36, was born March 28, 1986 in Wichita, Kansas to her mother Victoria and father, Tim. She graduated high school GED in May 2005 and became a mother shortly after in July 2005. Valarie studied Sociology at Wichita Area Tech College and was eager to finish her degree later through the years.

She was vibrant and full of life. Valarie was kind, warm hearted, loving, sweet, but very sassy. Her favorite things were her family and being a part of their lives. Valarie loved her three sons and daughter more than the stars and moon.

She had so many plans for her life. Valarie loved to help others with domestic violence and was trying to make plans to start a program in Derby, Kansas.

She went home to the Lord, and was greeted by her daughter, Elaina and grandfather, Mavin Cline.

Valarie leaves behind those who cherish her memory: mother, Victoria (Tim) Mendenhall of Derby; three sons, Sunny, Adrain, and Alexander Castilleja of Lubbock, Texas; siblings, Andrea (Jeremy) Cook, Samantha (Jacob) Pyatte; niece, Kennedy Cook; nephew, Aiden Cook; Grandma Cline; and many aunts, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Friday November 11, 2022. Funeral service is 10:00 am Saturday, November 12, 2022, both at Smith Family Mortuary – Derby, Kansas.
