Jones, V. Clarice, age 90, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Visitation 1-5 p.m. Friday, November 19, Rosary at 7 p.m., both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral mass 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Faith Center, 2300 E. Meadowlark, Derby. Clarice was a school teacher at Wineteer Elementary and a substitute teacher at St. Mary. Survived by her children Eleanor Shive, Wichita; Charlotte Dee Jones, Wichita; Paula (William) Morse, Overland Park; Charles (Pamela) Jones, Wichita; grandchildren Terrence D. Shive, Timothey A. Shive, Tamara K. Shive, Christopher Valentine, Jeremy Hamm, Amy Schleicher, Michelle Westerman, Stacey Greb; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Suzanne Patterson; and a cousin, Marilyn Green. Preceded in death by husband Charley W. Jones.
