Tomp W. Decarsky

October 25, 1925 — May 3, 2013

DERBY - Decarsky, Tomp W., 87, independent businessman, passed away at his home on Friday, May 3, 2013. Mr. Decarsky was co-founder of Thunderbird Technical Sales & Services, Inc. and served as its president for 32 years. He continued as an officer and stockholder of Thunderbird through 2000. In 2008 he helped establish The Decarsky Foundation for the purpose of funding scholarships and other charitable causes. Tomp considered education as a vital factor in a good community. Memorials established with Heartland Hospice and The Decarsky Foundation. Survivors: wife, Vicki; daughter, Tammy Bowden (Pat Blake) both of Derby, KS; sister, Florence Stout of Oxnard, CA. Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
