Tina Marie Barnes

It is with unbelievable sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Tina Marie Barnes (Hood), on July 2, 2026, at the age of 58. Tina was born on February 9,1968 in Wichita, Ks., to Robert and Virginia (Evans) Hood.

She is preceded in death by her son, Shaun David Rogge, granddaughter, Ella Carmen, and by her sisters, Bobbie Joe Starr and Stephanie Diane Gilpin.

Tina is survived by her husband Danny Barnes; son, Luke Rogge; daughter, Sophie (Alex) Carmen; sister, Regina (Jeff) Pinnell; parents, Robert (Janice) Hood; Virginia (Robert) Woodward; Grandchildren, Luke Jr, Alexander, Landon, Nevaeh, Benjamin, Bella, and Ava

Tina loved quiet pursuits such as reading, book clubs, and diamond art. She often found herself in deep conversation with those closest to her and carried a heart full of love and compassion. She was selfless and caring, with an extraordinary gift for finding joy in simple things. She welcomed everyone she met, making each person feel loved. Most of all, she loved her husband, children, grandkids, family, friends, and community.
