Timothy Ryan Rankin

Derby – Rankin, Timothy Ryan, age 34, maintenance supervisor at MPM, Inc. in Wichita, passed away July 23, 2012. Visitation 1-8pm Thursday, July 26, with family present 6-8pm; funeral service 10am Friday, July 27, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Tim was born February 24, 1978 in Canton, Ohio to Sue and Larry Rankin. At age 14 Tim’s family moved to Derby where he finished his school years and then served in the United States Army. He was a family man, enjoyed wrestling and most importantly was ready to be a family with Salena and Rylie. Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Graff, Joanne and Bert Standley and Harry Storm; great-uncle, Jim Pardoe. He is survived by his fiancé, Salena Little and her daughter Rylie; parents, Larry and Sue Rankin of Derby; brother, Mike (Kim) Rankin of Mulvane; niece, Peyton Rankin; grandmother, Jeanne Graff; great-aunt, Betty Pardoe; aunts and uncles, Sheryl Brock, Diane (Jim) Fonzo, Bill Graff, Patti (Ray) Waltz, Kathy Smith, Sharon Mast, David Rankin, Renee Dunkle and Barbara Perkins; 20 cousins and many friends.
