Timothy Edward Hoose

Hoose, Timothy Edward, 62, passed away on August 6, 2026. He was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 7, 1963, to his parents, Thomas Hoose and Phyllis (Wells) Hoose.

Time lived to the fullest by enrolling in the army at a young age and went to Panama where he met the love of his life, and he became a paratrooper special forces. After the military he became a professional skydiver instructor with over 6,000 skydiving jumps. He served as a volunteer firefighter. He also went to paramedics school and work as one and he later had his on business as a remodeling carpenter. But his first and most was being a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Hoose, Sr; mother, Phyllis (Richard) Lewis.

Tim is survived by his wife of 44 years, Leticia Hoose; children, Jon (Alicia) Roberson, Steven (Sarah) Roberson, Collette (Jesse) Childers, Alexander Roberson, Timothy Hoose, Jr., Richard Hoose; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Thomas Hoose and Michael Hoose, several nieces, nephews, and multiple family members.

Funeral service is 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, with viewing at 1pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 North Rock Road, Derby, Kansas 67037.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be given to Beauties and Beasts, 7030 South Broadway, Haysville, Kansas 67060.
